Job summary

The City of Bellevue is seeking a strategic leader to advance planning and delivery of major maintenance, enterprise space optimization, and capital improvement projects across its municipal facilities portfolio.

As the Facility Planning & Delivery Manager in the Finance & Asset Management Department, you will guide long-range planning, champion change management, and lead complex projects from concept through construction while ensuring sustainability, accessibility, and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, construction management, public administration, or related field.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience in space planning and/or capital project/program management, preferably in the public sector.
• Experience supervising professional or technical staff.
• Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end delivery of space planning and capital projects including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
• Ensure projects incorporate sustainable design standards and meet ADA/universal accessibility requirements.
• Oversee portfolio performance; establish governance frameworks, metrics, and reporting to improve CIP delivery.
• Lead complex decision-making related to scope, schedule, budget, risk, and trade-offs; escalate issues and drive resolution.
