Job summary

Seattle Finance and Administrative Services is seeking a Manager 1, Property & Facility Management to lead contracting, compliance, and vendor oversight for City projects in Seattle. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team of three, coordinate with tenant departments and consultants, and ensure adherence to City procurement rules, regulatory standards, and project delivery deadlines.

On-site work three days per week with site travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facility Management, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of project management, contracting, or compliance experience in public sector facilities.
  • One year of supervision of multidisciplinary teams and vendor oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee contracting compliance for small- to mid-level projects per PC policies.
  • Classify work as public works, purchased services, or consultant services.
  • Maintain consultant contracting program including scope, amendments, and Equal Benefits compliance.
  • Coordinate with Facility Maintenance and Property Management on shutdowns and access.
  • Represent Project Delivery in senior stakeholder presentations.
