Job summary

The City of Bellevue is seeking a strategic Facility Planning & Delivery Manager to advance planning and delivery of major maintenance, enterprise space optimization, and capital projects across municipal facilities. You will guide short- and long-range facility planning, steward space needs, and lead complex projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, interior design, construction management, public administration, or related field.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressively responsible experience in space planning and/or capital project/program management, preferably in the public sector.
• Experience supervising professional or technical staff.
• Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Establish vision and priorities for Facility Planning and Delivery, emphasizing sustainability and accessibility.
• Oversee space planning, major maintenance master plans, and enterprise space plans.
• Direct end-to-end delivery of space planning and capital projects from concept to close-out.
• Ensure projects meet ADA/universal accessibility and energy efficiency standards.
• Develop governance, metrics, and reporting to improve CIP delivery.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and provide executive-level presentations.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and compliance with public procurement.
