Job summary

Parchment School District is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician II or III to join our Facilities team. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across building systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability.

The technician will work independently and with a team, handling HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building repairs while adhering to safety guidelines and district procedures. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Additional technical training or certification preferred.
• Experience in building/facilities maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain district building and mechanical systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot HVAC, BAS, boilers, pumps, and controls.
• Repair plumbing fixtures and electrical components within scope.
• Perform building repairs, carpentry, and painting as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors and document work in CMMS.
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure safety procedures and district policies are followed.
• Maintain organized work areas and inventory.
