Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a wide range of school district maintenance tasks on site. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting repairs, while following district policies and safety procedures.

The role includes routine inspections, emergency repairs, and upkeep of facilities and grounds. Candidates should have at least one year of maintenance experience and be able to work independently or with a team in a demanding school environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems and respond to maintenance requests.
• Install ceiling and floor materials and assist with maintenance of playgrounds and grounds.
• Move, install, assemble and repair school furniture and equipment as needed.
• Perform safety inspections and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist with special events and custodial duties as required.
