Job summary

Litchfield Elementary School District is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance Technician III to support district-wide buildings and grounds. The role covers electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and related trades with on-call duties and scheduled shifts.

The technician will perform inspections for preventative maintenance, safety and security, and work across multiple locations. This is a full-time, 40-hour/week position with benefits and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance across school facilities.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
• Familiarity with safety standards and record-keeping for facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks across district facilities.
• Inspect and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, doors, hardware, and structural components.
• Operate and maintain district vehicle and hand/power tools.
• Document work performed and notify supervisor of safety concerns.

Technician III

Primarily 1st Shift - 6am-2:30pm with rotating 2nd shift, 12:30pm to 9pm.
