Job summary

Simon Management Assoc is seeking a reliable maintenance technician to help manage and service the Sugarloaf Mills center in Georgia. The role covers troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, along with general preventive maintenance and upkeep of the property.

The position requires at least 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a proactive, safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Technical School certifications and/or training preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions.

Responsibilities

Routinely inspects facility, troubleshoots and makes repairs to mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and plumbing systems, and structural elements.
Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, plumbing repairs, lighting, and related tasks.
Operate equipment to perform preventive maintenance and keep property clean.
Assist in events setup and coordination with Marketing and Local Leasing for cart placement and repair.
Ensure safety by following OSHA standards and maintaining logs, records, and MSDS.
Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned by management.
Maintain inventory systems, records, files, MSDS, supplies, equipment and tools.
