Job summary

Simon Property Group at Sugarloaf Mills seeks a facilities maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems while performing preventive maintenance and building upkeep. The role includes painting, lighting, and maintaining exterior areas.

The position supports event setup with Marketing and Local Leasing, and maintains logs, inventories, and tools. A high school diploma or GED with 2–3 years of maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Technical School certifications or training preferred.
• Ability to interpret documents and convey information to management and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and troubleshoot/mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs (painting, drywall, lighting, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, sidewalks, and service bays; manage inventory and tools.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Local Leasing for events and cart placement/repair.
• Follow OSHA and safety standards and supervise maintenance staff as needed.
