Job summary

Simon Property Group at Phipps Plaza Office is looking for a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair the mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems of the center. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, inspections, and smooth daily operations.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of building maintenance experience, ability to read plans, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical School certifications and/or training preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspects facility, troubleshoots and makes repairs to the mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and plumbing systems, as well as any structural elements on the property
• Perform maintenance on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, lighting and fixtures
• Operate equipment to perform preventive maintenance and keep property clean
• Assist Marketing and Local Leasing with event setup and cart placement/repair
• Maintain logs, inventories, and safety data sheets, supplies and tools
