Job summary

United States Soccer Federation in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the National Training Center's building systems. This hands-on role leads core infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation.

You will work with a small facilities team, respond to work requests, coordinate with vendors, support events, and help ensure safety, compliance, and smooth facility operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building engineering or facilities maintenance.
• General knowledge of soccer.
• Strong hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and holidays is required.
• Ability to perform general manual labor and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building automation systems.
• Monitor system performance to ensure reliability, efficiency, and occupant comfort.
• Respond to and resolve system issues, alarms, and failures in a timely and professional manner.
• Track equipment warranties and service agreements, ensuring required maintenance is conducted in accordance with warranty terms.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective actions or capital improvements.
• Coordinate and collaborate with vendors and contractors.
• Support facility readiness for events, training camps, meetings, and activations.
• Other duties as assigned.
