Qualifications

• Basic mechanical experience with turf, landscape, agricultural, or automotive equipment.
• Working knowledge of small engines, hydraulic and diesel systems, power equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong work ethic; willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanics or equipment maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance and daily servicing of turf equipment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, lubrication, blade adjustments, oil changes.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues and complete repairs.
• Maintain clean and organized shop, maintenance areas, and storage.
• Support equipment setup for trainings, tournaments, events.
• Maintain maintenance logs, service records and parts inventory.
• Safely operate equipment to support turf and grounds operations.
• Collaborate with head mechanic and grounds staff to prioritize equipment needs.
