Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of the National Training Center’s building systems.

This hands-on role leads core infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation within a small facilities team. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, responding to issues and alarms, maintaining documentation, and supporting events and facility readiness.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building engineering or facilities maintenance.
• Strong hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
• Monitor system performance for reliability and occupant comfort.
• Respond to alarms and issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Support compliance with codes, regulations, and safety practices.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
