Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Master Facilities Technician for the Space Structures Complex in Middle River, MD. You will lead build-out, manage HVAC systems, and ensure safe, efficient operations to support production of the Neutron vehicle.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and the Jira ticketing workflow while coordinating with site teams. The role requires 10+ years of HVAC experience and an EPA 608 license, with placement for growth within a busy aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Universal License.
• Facility maintenance experience in aerospace or other highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility build-out, renovation, and construction projects.
• Maintain, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems for production.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules for building systems.
• Oversee day-to-day facility operations and upgrades.
• Assist plumbing maintenance and new installations.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across site.
• Oversee JIRA-based ticketing and track work orders.
• Support rollout of BMS/BAS systems.
• Maintain site safety, security, and cleanliness.
• Respond to after-hours facility emergencies.
• Occasional travel as needed.
