Job summary

Rocket Lab is seeking a Master Facilities Technician for our Space Structures Complex in Middle River, MD. You will lead facility build-out, oversee HVAC systems, and ensure safe, compliant operations within a high-demand aerospace environment.

You will drive preventative maintenance, manage daily facility activities, and support site expansion projects to keep pace with production needs. Strong HVAC and regulatory experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• EPA 608 Universal License.
• Facility maintenance experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility build-out and improvement projects including planning, procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
• Maintain, repair, and upgrade HVAC systems to ensure performance in challenging conditions.
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for building systems to maximize uptime.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations, including repairs and upgrades, and lead major renovations as needed.
• Assist with plumbing maintenance and new installations supporting production needs.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
