Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator on-site in Middle River, MD. The role supports CMMS implementation, maintenance coordination, and admin tasks across building, grounds, and equipment, with vendor coordination and project support.

You will work with the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Lead on scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring milestones and budgets are met, including JIRA ticketing and PO processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of facilities maintenance coordination experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Device, or similar highly-regulated manufacturing environment - OR - High School Diploma and 6 years of experience.
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP, Infor LN, Oracle)
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of our internal CMMS system- through Infor LN's service module
• Data entry
• Assist with facilities maintenance coordination and administrative tasks as it relates to janitorial, building/grounds, maintenance, repair, and update/upgrade activities
• Administrative support for major facility renovations / construction projects
• Coordinate maintenance support to ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment
• Assist in vendor and contractor coordination & scheduling
• Project management support involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
• Assist in the development plans for facilities modifications and improvements with the focus on scope, schedule, and budget
• Ensures that project milestones are met and adhering to approved budgets
• Oversee ticketing system (JIRA) and set priorities for resolution
• Track and submit purchase orders; process credit card receipts and submit expense reports.
• Support Facilities Manager with compiling documentation and data for internal reporting and leadership updates.
