Job summary

The Building People is hiring a Facilities Supervisor in Nogales, AZ. You will lead building engineers and technicians, manage budgets, and ensure safety and energy efficiency across a high-rise portfolio. Telework is limited and roles align with government or client requirements.

Require at least five years in building mechanical ops, AZ Refrigeration Operator license, and Universal Refrigerant Certification; background checks and clearances may be required for government-related work.

Qualifications

• Five years in managing building mechanical ops and maintenance for high-rise buildings.
• AZ Refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning Operators License required; Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily checks with building engineers and technicians.
• Review and approve time sheets and overtime.
• Assist with budgeting, scope development, and RFA/RFP processes.
• Oversee safety compliance and OSHA guidelines.
• Coordinate training and supervise engineering staff.
• Collaborate with general contractors on projects and energy efficiency upgrades.
