Job summary

The Building People, LLC invites experienced facilities professionals to join our team as Facilities Supervisor in Nogales, AZ. You will lead building engineers and technicians, oversee daily operations, safety compliance, and on-time updates to clients, while guiding the development of engineering staff and ensuring quality service.

Responsibilities include budgeting assistance, vendor contract review, energy efficiency oversight, and coordinating training.

Qualifications

• Five years (within the past seven) of managing and supervising building mechanical operations and maintenance.
• Arizona Refrigeration and / or Air Conditioning Operators License and a Universal Refrigerant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Daily checks with Building Engineers and Technicians.
• Prepare weekly reports and review timesheets.
• Screen, hire and coordinate training for engineering staff.
• Provide technical support, delegation, and project management to the engineering team.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and OSHA compliance.
• Oversee commissioning of new equipment and vendor contract management.
• Assist with budgets and energy efficiency initiatives.

Job description

The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Facilities Supervisor. The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the management, supervision, and professional development of all building engineering personnel.

Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Daily Checks with Building Engineers and Technicians
• Weekly Reports
• Time Sheet Review
• Time Exception Review
• Overtime
• PTO
• Screen, hire, supervise, and coordinate training activities for engineering staff.
• Provide technical support, job delegation, and project management to engineering team.
• Assist with reducing operating expenses while maintaining and enhancing the quality of the services provided.
• Assist in generating and executing budgets
• Assist with generating scope for /RFA/RFP.
• Assist in project management.
• Outline a seamless customer impact.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Provide on time updates to Client.
• Assist with construction projects
• Review construction drawings to ensure standards are followed.
• Collaborate with GC's on impacts to existing customers, FLS impairments, warranty work, etc.
• Oversee commissioning of new equipment.
• Vendor contract review and management.
• Monitor and control energy efficiency.
• Assist with generating SOP's
• Ensure OSHA compliance.
• Ensure team development goals are outlined and met.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Required Experience & Skills

• The Facilities Supervisor shall possess at least five years (within the past seven years) experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical operations and maintenance for high rise buildings.
• They shall also be required to have a Arizona Refrigeration and / or Air Conditioning Operators License and a Universal Refrigerant Certification

• Federal Government Experience
• High Rise Office Building Experience
