Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Building Engineer in Gilbert, AZ to maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. You will monitor operations, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and apply specialized site knowledge with autonomy.

The role requires eight years of relevant experience, Universal CFC certification, and strong communication skills. You will also manage energy programs and coordinate with outside contractors to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with eight years’ experience in electrical/HVAC/refrigeration.
• Universal CFC certification required with additional related certifications preferred.
• Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial figures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, monitor, and perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on building equipment.
• Oversee and inspect work by outside contractors (HVAC, plumbing, landscaping etc.).
• Maintain energy management programs to minimize operating costs.
• Prepare estimates for time and material needs for tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with coworkers.
