Campus Apartments is seeking an Experienced Facilities Supervisor in Tucson, AZ to oversee the physical and mechanical upkeep of our property. You will lead maintenance staff, manage repairs, schedule improvements, and ensure safety and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; additional education preferred.
• HVAC certification.
• Electrical certification.
• Universal certification to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Licensed pool operator if the community maintains a pool.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain painting and cleaning of the property (internal and external).
• Perform maintenance and basic mechanical tasks; code work and fire alarm checks.
• Plan and schedule capital improvement projects and apartment work.
• Define project scope, obtain bids, and review contractors for in-house or external work.
• Repair appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers) and obtain price quotes.
• Maintain boiler machinery and complete monthly inspection reports.
• Snow removal where applicable.
• Order pool supplies and ensure proper maintenance where applicable.
• Maintain positive tenant relations and inform the General Manager of issues.
• Oversee night and weekend maintenance staff; coordinate with bus drivers as needed.
• Ensure timely, professional, courteous completion of all work orders.
• Hire and terminate maintenance staff in cooperation with the General Manager.
• Ensure payroll submission for maintenance staff is accurate and timely.
• Collaborate daily with the General Manager on scheduling and budgeting.
