Job summary

Newsmax Media, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Facilities/Building Operations professional in New York to lead daily operations, security, and compliance. You will oversee building systems, access control, vendor and contract management, and life-safety planning across multiple spaces.

You will coordinate with management, IT, and engineering teams to uphold lease obligations, ensure safety, and keep high-security areas properly controlled. A background in high-uptime environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business admin, Facilities/Properties management, Engineering).
• 5+ years in facilities/building operations, ideally with exposure to media, IT, broadcast, or other high-security/high-uptime environments (studios, data centers, financial firms).
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-floor operations is a plus.
• Certifications such as CFM – IFMA, FMP – IFMA, OSHA 30-Hour, Fire Life Safety Director – FLSD, CPR/First Aid are a plus.
• Familiarity with building systems (HVAC, electrical, security/access control platforms) and vendor/contract negotiation experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, and actively monitor critical operating systems (electric, water, HVAC, security, access controls).
• Review and manage access control requests, key/card issuance, and offboarding-related removals.
• Coordinate with landlords, vendors, and contractors for leases, permissions, and service arrangements.
• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans including redundancy of key systems.
