Job summary

Hamilton-Madison House is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our New York sites, including the main site and satellite locations. You will supervise facility staff and security, manage health and safety protocols, coordinate vendor relations and projects, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, S-95 and F-07 certifications or the ability to obtain them within six months, and at least three years of supervisory

Qualifications

• Requires Associate Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Certificate of Fitness for Fire Alarm Systems (S-95) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Certificate of Fitness for Fire and Emergency Drill Conductor (F-07) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 3 years of custodial/grounds maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience working with urban, underserved communities, particularly communities of color.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facility operations and supervision of facility staff and security.
• Lead health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with Covid-19 guidance.
• Manage facility projects, vendor relations, and satellite sites.
• Coordinate work requests with building maintenance and custodial teams.
• Maintain facility expense records and assist with vendor payments.
