Job summary

Newsmax Media Inc is seeking an experienced Life Safety, Compliance & Disaster Planning professional to identify, manage, and monitor critical operating systems and access controls across facilities in New York.

You will lead safety inspections, liaise with city officials, coordinate vendor services, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining daily operations and office administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business admin, Facilities/Properties management, or Engineering.
• 5+ years in facilities/building operations in high-security environments.
• Experience managing multi-site operations and vendor contracts.
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP, OSHA 30-hour are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and identify hazards across facilities.
• Interface with IT, broadcasting, graphics, advertising, and other teams.
• Monitor building systems and respond to alerts and irregularities.
• Review access requests, issue keys/cards, and offboarding removals.
• Track punch-lists with landlords and vendors; coordinate scheduling.
• Coordinate same-day/next-day vendor visits and after-hours support.
