Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior role to manage the O45 Maintenance Planning department at Newport News Shipbuilding.

You will oversee contractor coordination, maintenance projects, equipment leasing, and real estate considerations, ensuring alignment with finance for overhead spending. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 8+ years of related experience; PMP certification is a plus and experience with SAP, PPM and MS Office is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of progressive experience in maintenance planning or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
• Familiarity with capital, direct and special-project funding processes is a plus (PMP certification is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Oversee O45 Maintenance Planning department, contractor coordination, and maintenance projects.
• Manage overhead spending and reporting with Finance and other leaders across NNS.
