PotomacWave is seeking a Facilities Technical Project Manager to support a Federal client in Washington, DC. The role supports the Facilities Division in planning, coordinating, and executing construction, maintenance, and renovation of facility infrastructure in secure environments.

The successful candidate will lead project initiatives, serve as the primary contact, document requirements, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 10 years of related experience in facilities or project management.
  • Technical background in facilities management and building infrastructure.
  • PMP or other project management certification.
  • Experience in classified environments and secure facilities.
  • Active DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate project and program initiatives supporting a Federal client in Washington, DC.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for projects under responsibility with clear accountability and communication.
  • Define the scope of work by documenting project requirements.
  • Coordinate scheduling and resource management across projects and programs.
  • Provide guidance on IT requirements, moves, and facility changes within secure facilities.
  • Develop and maintain tracking tools for facilities operations and space planning.
