PotomacWave Consulting, Inc. seeks a Facilities Technical Project Manager to support a federal client in Washington, DC.

You will oversee facility infrastructure projects, coordinate schedules and resources, and serve as the primary liaison with stakeholders on IT needs, office moves, and secure facility changes. The role requires a technical background in facilities management, a PMP or equivalent certification, and a DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years of related experience.
• A technical background is required with knowledge of facilities management and building infrastructure.
• PMP certification or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience working in a classified environment and with construction/infrastructure in secure facilities.
• Project management experience with office moves and facilities upgrades.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and work ethic.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint); Jira experience is desirable.
• Counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination may be required.
• Must have an active DOE Q or Top-Secret clearance.

Aufgaben

• Oversee and coordinate project and program initiatives supporting a Federal client.
• Serve as the single point of contact for projects under responsibility, ensuring accountability and communication.
• Define the scope of work by documenting project requirements.
• Coordinate project management functions including schedule and resource management.
• Provide guidance on IT requirements, office moves, and facility changes.
• Develop and maintain tracking tools to support facilities operations and space planning.
• Serve as system owner for Facilities Division ticketing; coordinate with admins to implement changes.
• Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and office relocations.
• Develop, maintain, and update SOPs and program documentation.
• Collaborate with building management to resolve maintenance issues in secure areas.
• Establish rapport with clients and stakeholders; integrate with the customer team.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement, ensuring timely communication and alignment of deliverables.
• Coordinate furniture/equipment/IT requirements to meet project schedule.
• Create agendas/minutes and support project meetings.
• Prepare and present project information for management decisions.
• Maintain facilities floor plans, records, and supporting documentation.
• Adapt to shifting priorities with analytical problem solving.
• Capture lessons learned and translate into best practices.
