Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque seeks a motivated Facilities Technologist in the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling organization. You will develop, implement, and manage maintenance plans and schedules for Sandia's facilities infrastructure to support reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include planning scope and field activities, leading backlog reviews, coordinating permits and outages, and building thorough work packages for scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 3 years related experience.
• Experience with chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, evaporative cooling systems, and other mechanical systems.
• Planning and scheduling work for maintenance or construction-like activities.
• CMMS software experience (Maximo or similar).
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance plans and schedules.
• Create work packages with scope, materials, hazards and controls.
• Lead monthly backlog reviews with Maintenance Team Leaders.
• Coordinate planned outages and permits.
• Identify hazards and support ES&H compliance in work activities.
