Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Facilities Technologist to plan and control fire protection maintenance, ensuring safe, compliant operations across multiple sites. You will build work packages, schedule resources, and coordinate with maintenance teams, engineers, and customers to optimize priorities and minimize downtime.

This role requires a strong background in CMMS (Maximo), scheduling, safety practices, and the ability to obtain a DOE L-level clearance. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus three years of related experience.
• Experience with facilities fire protection systems and alarms.
• Planning and scheduling maintenance or construction-like activities.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOE L-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities and resources.
• Develop and publish maintenance job plans and estimates.
• Lead backlog reviews with maintenance team leaders.
• Coordinate planned outages and facility impairments.
• Review work orders with detailed scope, priority, and timing.
