Job summary

Credence in Ohio seeks a Senior Operations Manager (Facility Management) to lead the Operations Management Division serving WPAFB. The role focuses on building management, records, IT, and environmental systems; you will coordinate with CE and HQ units to ensure mission-ready facilities.

Must hold active TS clearance; advanced degree or substantial DoD experience; oversee safety, security, energy, and emergency procedures; responsible for AF forms and compliance actions.

Qualifications

• Must have an active/top-secret security clearance verifiable in DISS.
• Master’s or Doctorate in a related field with 10+ years of experience, five in DoD; OR a Bachelor’s with 12 years in the DoD; OR 15 years of related experience with proper certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Real Property Building Manager and protect property per AFI 23-111.
• Protect personnel, property, and information within WPAFB facilities and parking areas.
• Log, resolve, and notify Government of conditions affecting facility support; assist with shutdowns.
• Enhance facility readiness through contingency planning, safety, and security activities.
• Respond within 30 minutes to emergencies; remain on site until controlled.
• Provide physical security for buildings; escort personnel and support access control.
• Maintain building security systems; oversee key access and changes per policy.
• Place maintenance requests; coordinate minor construction per guidelines.
• Report environmental system deficiencies; recommend corrective actions.
• Oversee energy management, HVAC inspections, and environmental compliance.
• Inspect facilities for hazardous materials and notify authorities as needed.
• Monitor utility systems; conduct daily facility inspections and annual drills.
• Establish building access procedures and key control.
