Job summary

Providence Swedish seeks a Facilities Engineering Supervisor to lead the team covering Swedish Issaquah and Swedish Redmond facilities. The role ensures safe, reliable operation of environmental and life-safety systems and coordinates with staff and vendors to meet service standards.

You will help manage budgets, develop preventive maintenance programs, and advise on building envelopes, finishes, and equipment. A broad background in hospital facility operations is required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a broad range of formal, specialized training courses pertaining to building maintenance and plant operations.
• Upon hire: National Boiler Operator Grade I License - State County City Trade License Authority or
• Upon hire: National Boiler Operator Grade II License - State County City Trade License Authority or
• Upon hire: National Boiler Operator Grade III License - State County City Trade License Authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership & vision for Facilities Engineering to promote teamwork and customer satisfaction.
• Plan work, schedule staff and vendors; supervise work order execution.
• Coordinate system disruptions; track work status; monitor building environmental and life safety systems.
• Advise on design, construction and operation of physical plant systems; ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Assist in budget development, Utility Management Plan, and labor/operating budgets.
