Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Facilities Engineering Supervisor to oversee Swedish Issaquah and Redmond campuses. You will lead the Facilities Engineering team, plan work, schedule staff and vendors, and ensure reliable operation of building systems in line with Providence's mission.

This role requires extensive experience in building maintenance, boiler operations, and life-safety systems, plus the ability to manage budgets and improve preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Broad range of formal training in building maintenance and plant operations.
• National Boiler Operator Licenses I-III upon hire.
• 10+ years building maintenance and plant operations experience.
• Experience with hospital utility systems and computer-based maintenance systems.
• Experience with building envelopes, finishes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision for the Facilities Engineering team.
• Plan work, schedules staff and vendors, and supervise work order execution.
• Coordinate system disruptions and track work status.
• Monitor and verify operation of utility and life safety systems.
• Manage Facilities Engineering budget and annual labor/opex/capex budgets.
