Job summary

Intel Corporation's Facilities Operations team seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to ensure reliable HVAC and mechanical systems across manufacturing, clean room, and R&D environments. On-site role supporting critical infrastructure.

Design, analyze, and troubleshoot systems; develop scopes of work; conduct design reviews; and collaborate with maintenance to improve uptime, safety, and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in designing, maintaining, and optimizing mechanical systems (or 6+ with master's; 3+ with PhD).
• Experience with HVAC, environmental exhaust, and mechanical process equipment; safety/regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and maintenance of mechanical/HVAC systems (chilled water, boilers, clean room equipment).
• Design, analyze, troubleshoot, and review mechanical systems and projects.
• Develop scopes of work and conduct design reviews; collaborate with maintenance and operations.
