Job summary

Intel Corporation in Arizona seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineer to maintain and optimize oil-free air systems, HVAC, and related equipment across manufacturing and R&D environments.

You will lead cross-functional efforts, perform design reviews, and drive reliability improvements, safety, and cost efficiency in a fast-paced semiconductor setting.

Excellent collaboration with operations and maintenance, and the ability to influence teams globally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of facilities experience.
• Experience with oil-free air systems, HVAC, chilled water plants, boilers, and exhaust systems.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing/facilities engineering support.
• Proficient in pumps, piping, valves, instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, reliability, and maintenance of mechanical systems (oil-free air, HVAC, chilled water, boilers, exhaust).
• Support safety, reliability, and environmental targets for mechanical systems.
• Design and analyze mechanical systems; troubleshoot issues; provide evaluations and solutions.
