Seagate Technology is seeking a Staff Facilities Mechanical Engineer to lead design and optimization of HVAC, cooling water, domestic water, and other facility systems at the Normandale campus in Bloomington, MN. You’ll serve as a technical lead for capital projects, system reliability, and operational excellence, with PE licensure and 8+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; 8+ years in industrial, manufacturing, or high-tech facilities.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience designing HVAC systems for large/complex facilities.
• Experience designing water distribution and utility water systems.
• Proficiency with engineering calculations, specifications, and design practices.
• Experience managing engineering and construction projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, specification, and engineering of HVAC systems and facility utilities.
• Manage capital improvement projects from concept through commissioning.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Review and approve engineering designs, submittals, and docs.
• Support construction, commissioning, startup, and system acceptance.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
