Job summary

Seagate Technology seeks a Facilities HVAC / Refrigeration Maintenance Tech Lead for our Normandale campus. The role leads a team, coordinates repairs, and ensures preventive maintenance across complex HVAC and refrigeration systems in a 24/7 facility, interfacing with vendors and internal clients.

The position requires strong technical expertise, safety discipline, and the ability to work with building automation systems (JCI).

Qualifications

• HVAC certification training or 2 years' experience or equivalent apprenticeship in operation, troubleshooting.
• CFC Certification.
• Boilers License or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC Technicians on day-to-day activities.
• Write work orders and interface with internal customers.
• Interact with vendors to coordinate building repairs.
• Order parts/tools, submit purchase requisitions, and manage parts inventory.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspection, repair, and installation of heating and A/C units.
• Operate and monitor building systems using the JCI BAS.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs and related tasks.
• Coordinate with management, project managers, engineers, and contractors.
