Job summary

Seagate Technology's Normandale campus in MN seeks a Staff Facilities Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC design, utilities engineering, and capital projects across a large industrial facility.

The role requires a PE license, strong problem-solving, and experience with BMS, water systems, and cleanroom environments where applicable. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in relevant facilities environments.
• Active PE license and experience designing HVAC for large/complex facilities.
• Experience with central utility plants and water systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, specification, and engineering of facility HVAC and related utilities.
• Manage capital improvement projects from concept through commissioning.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop engineering standards.
