Job summary

Seagate Technology is seeking an entry-level Facilities Electrical Engineer I in Bloomington, MN. You will support operation, maintenance, and improvement of facility electrical systems, power distribution, and energy monitoring to enable reliable manufacturing operations.

You will assist with BAS integration, capital projects, and tool installations, while developing skills in design, documentation, and compliance with NEC and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 0-3 years of engineering experience, including internships, co‑ops, or relevant project experience.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD and reading electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support design, evaluation, and improvement of facility electrical systems, including power distribution equipment and lighting.
• Assist with electrical engineering calculations, equipment specifications, and documentation.
• Review drawings and specs to support projects and operations; ensure NEC and company standards compliance.
• Assist in installation, integration, and telemetry of energy monitoring and BAS systems.
• Support capital projects, tool installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor reliability, performance, and maintenance of critical electrical infrastructure.
