Job summary

The Facilities Manager at MaineHealth is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Facilities Management Department, overseeing Plant Operation, Routine Maintenance, Equipment, Utility, Life Safety, and overall Safety to maintain a safe Environment of Care for patients, visitors and staff.

The position requires a 4th class Stationary Engineers License, a Maine driver’s license, and 3–5 years in hospital or service settings, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong regulatory

Qualifications

• Education: Post-secondary education in electrical or mechanical field or equivalent experience required.
• License/Certifications: 4th class Stationary Engineers License required. Valid Maine Driver’s license.
• Experience: 3–5 years in the hospital or service field.
• Ability to use basic computer functions Microsoft Office, Email.
• Strong knowledge of codes and regulations and standards.
