Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME, seeks a Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations, supervising three shift supervisors and more than forty-five officers. You will ensure protection of people and property and verify access per hospital policy.

You will also assist the Security Director in developing, implementing, and monitoring security policies and programs across MaineHealth facilities, with a focus on calm decision-making and incident prevention.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• IAHSS Basic certification within six months of hire; Supervisory and Safety certificates within one year.
• Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare security management.
• Ability to communicate professional reports using hospital software metrics.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations and guidelines governing healthcare security.

Responsabilidades

• Direct management of 24/7 security operations with three shift supervisors and over forty-five security officers.
• Protect hospital premises, property, employees, patients and visitors.
• Identify entrants to the hospital per policy.
• Assist the Security Director with development, implementation, and monitoring of security policies and programs across MaineHealth facilities.
