Job summary

Uncommon Hospitality operates four hotels and seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee property maintenance across the portfolio in Portland, Maine. You will lead on-site teams, manage vendors, and ensure safety and brand standard compliance while supporting guest experience with well-maintained properties.

The role collaborates with General Managers to maintain high property performance, drive capital projects, and optimize budgets.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with maintenance tracking and/or work order software is preferred.
• Familiarity with seasonal operations, historic renovations, and coastal property maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support on-site maintenance teams across four hotels.
• Develop capital improvement projects from planning through completion.
• Manage facilities budgets and annual planning.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintain rigorous safety, OSHA, and life-safety compliance across all properties.
• Foster relationships with strategic business partners and local vendors.
