JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager to support the entire Americas region and Latin America for our client.
The Facilities Manager (FM) is responsible for managing all aspects of facilities service as detailed in the scope of works section of the contract and will report to the Account Director. You will be working directly with the local client to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and the implementation of acceptable property-specific operating strategies that achieve these required standards.
This role also oversees the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g. direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve the goals.
What This Job Involves
- Supportingthe Account Leadership team to drive Accountwide initiatives in terms of Engineering Service Delivery, Workplace / Employee Experience, Energy and Sustainability, Transformation, Client First Interface, and delivery of the Annual Account Plan.
- Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.
- Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.
- Identify opportunities for improved operation and innovative solutions to drive efficiencies (process and cost) and make recommendations to JLL account leadership/manager for consideration.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, environment, and risk management policies and procedures across the assigned portfolio.
- Manage and track all assurance and control reviews
- Manage repairs and maintenance, minor works, and other requests, tracking to completion.
- Manage vendor performance ensuring services are delivered in accordance with the contract and to agreed standards. Document and escalated instances of poor performance.
- Coordinate internally with other teams which may include Workplace Experience / Effectiveness, Transformation, Finance, Project Management, and Engineering.
- Support and manage small construction projects as directed by the client and manager.
- Be the key point of contact and interface for third‑party owners (landlords), ensuring lease compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolution of tenant‑related issues.
- Participate and lead client planning meetings associated with upcoming initiatives or events that may impact facilities, make necessary recommendations associated with FM roles and responsibilities, and ensure that the events are supported as necessary by the team.
- Work with the client to make required recommendations related to OpEx and CapEx annual budgets and impact.
- Deliver management reports and compile monthly and quarterly reporting data as requested.
- Procurement of goods and services for client’s buildings utilizing Jones Lang LaSalle sourcing teams.
- Space evaluation and planning, updating of floor plans
- Project Management during built‑out phases, liaising with architects/landlords, organizing work schedules, etc.
- Coach and guide all project teams (sub‑contractors, maintenance engineers, and commissioning engineers) throughout full project lifecycles
- Be available for 24/7 emergency call support and site presence as required.
Service Delivery
Hard, Soft and Technical Services
- Ensure that contracted resources deliver work to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring the correction of under‑performance issues.
- Establish and operate the information systems necessary for effective scheduling and recording of contract work.
- Processing and controlling of invoices and work orders, opening and monitoring budgets in the financial system (Oracle), and preparing and updating forecasts.
- Oversee and follow up on all technical maintenance for installations (AC/heating/fire extinguishing system, electrical installations, etc.).
- Negotiate, renegotiate, and maintain contracts with vendors.
- Planning and budgeting of internal fit‑out works and technical installations.
- Purchasing of furniture, organization of internal departmental office/space moves.
- Assist the AD with the management of a team of Assistant Facilities Managers and Third Party Contractors including allocating resources, delegating workload, ensuring adherence to best practices, etc. (roles not present on every site).
- General administration of the department, (holidays, training, performance reviews, etc.).
- Updating and maintaining official safety documents, liaise with government authorities.
- Point of Contact for security/alarm responding

- 5 years + in a Facilities Management role within a large commercial organization
- Experience in owning facilities contracts and supplier/ contractor management.
- Experience in working with quality, environmental, and EHS management systems essential
- Quality, EHS, and environmental‑related accreditations are desirable
- The Facilities Management industry recognized related qualifications are desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Vendor/contract management
- High level of IT literacy
- Practical experience in contract delivery
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of hard and soft services
Schedule:
Monday - Friday - 7am-4pm
Occasional Weekend Work Required
Pay $110,000 – 130,000 with a 10% targeted bonus
