Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Houston, TX seeks a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of multiple facilities, lead a facilities team, and ensure services meet policy and tenant needs.

The role manages budgets, contracts, and capital plans, drives safety and efficiency, and coordinates with clients and vendors to deliver reliable, high‑quality facility services across campuses and high‑rise properties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management or Business Administration required.
• 8–10 years of facility management experience with at least 3 years at the level of Facility Manager.
• Experience in leasing, construction, engineering and all facets of property operation and building management.
• Experience with human resource and performance management processes.
• CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring services are delivered and needs met per policy.
• Manage service contracts cost effectively; conduct RFPs and financial reviews; ensure contract pricing alignment.
• Lead the facility management team in maintenance programs for interior, exterior, and appearance of facilities.
• Ensure prompt response to client and tenant requests by the facility management staff.
• Prepare and deliver consolidated budgets, financial reports, contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders.
• Develop annual facility budgets, quarterly forecasts, and business plans.
• Coordinate collection and analysis of data to assess facility management objectives and cost savings.
• Hire, train, and evaluate facility management staff; maintain proactive employee relations.
• Drive customer focus and maintain strong relationships with key client contacts.
