This position requires both strategic vision and hands-on problem-solving, as you'll balance long-term planning with the ability to respond decisively to operational challenges.**What your day-to-day will look like**:* Develop and execute comprehensive facilities management strategies aligned with client business objectives and organizational goals* Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs across multiple properties, ensuring optimal building performance and minimal operational disruption* Manage vendor relationships and service contracts, conducting performance evaluations and negotiations to maximize value and service quality* Lead capital improvement projects from conception through completion, including scope development, budgeting, contractor selection, and quality assurance* Monitor and analyze facilities budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence and compliance standards* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess building conditions, identify risks, and implement corrective actions* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including property management, engineering, sustainability, and client stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions* Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations including health and safety, environmental, and building codes* Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership and clients, providing insights on facilities performance, project status, and strategic recommendations**Required Qualifications**:* Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related experience* 6+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 2+ years in leadership capacity* Proven track record managing large-scale facilities operations and multi-million dollar budgets* Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems* Demonstrated expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and service level agreement oversight* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels* Proficiency in CMMS/work order systems and Microsoft Office Suite**Preferred Qualifications:*** Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), FMP (Facility Management Professional), or PMP (Project Management Professional)* Experience implementing preventive maintenance programs and utilizing condition-based maintenance strategies* Background in change management and process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma**Location**: Newington, MAThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
