Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group seeks aMaintenance Supervisor to manage repairs and upkeep across its senior living communities in Michigan. You will lead maintenance and housekeeping staff, coordinate contractors, and ensure safety, sanitation, and licensing compliance.

Requires a high school diploma/GED and at least three years in building maintenance, plus supervisory experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and three years of building maintenance experience are required.
• Three years of supervisory experience are strongly preferred.
• Must have demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; professional demeanor with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to assure buildings and contents remain operable.
• Maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, safety equipment, and grounds.
• Inspect and oversee repairs to building structure including windows, doors, roofing, and siding.
• Coordinate grounds maintenance, snow removal, and lawn care; shovel/salt walkways as needed.
• Oversee housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and occupancy-ready spaces.
• Maintain records of repairs, purchases, and expenditures; prepare cost estimates.
