Job summary

Hunt Military Housing Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the physical condition of its assets and ensure safe, attractive properties with strong financial performance. You will lead a maintenance team, manage budgets, and coordinate vendors to meet service standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance programs, inspections, on-call procedures, and making-ready of vacated units. Strong leadership, communication, and a hands-on approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 4-6 years in building maintenance required.
• Experience managing others preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Willingness to work outside in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff recruitment, hiring, training, coaching, evaluation, and discipline.
• Oversee budget and financial performance for the property.
• Communicate with vendors/contractors, approve invoices.
• Schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate maintenance personnel.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs and safety compliance.
• Perform site inspections and manage resident service requests.
• Supervise make-ready of vacated units.
• Establish emergency on-call procedures.
