Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in Daniels, WV seeks a Maintenance Director to ensure safety and comfort by maintaining a clean, well‑kept environment. You will report to the Nursing Home Administrator and oversee electrical, plumbing and HVACR systems, supervising staff and handling records and budgeting.

You will also maintain fire alarm and generator systems, stay on call 24/7, and use the TELS platform for Life Safety tasks and regulatory duties. Detailed benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents.
• Maintains required records and reports; performs budget planning.
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operates on the TELS platform for Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
