Job summary

Genesis in Daniels, WV is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing surroundings for patients and residents. The role reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and requires supervision of the maintenance department.

The position includes on-call responsibilities 24/7, oversight of life safety systems, and coordination with leadership to meet compliance and budget goals. Minimum qualifications include a high school degree and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents.
• Maintains required records and reports; performs budget planning.
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operates on the TELS platform for all Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
