Job summary

Genesis seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee safe, well‑maintained facilities and lead the maintenance team at our nursing centers. You will report to the Nursing Home Administrator and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of service and aesthetics.

The role requires on‑site presence in Beckley, WV with on‑call duties to support residents and patients around the clock. A strong focus on safety, staff development, and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Basic training/knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Mantains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize risk.
• Makes budget planning and maintains required records/reports.
• On‑call for emergencies seven days a week, 24/7.
• Operates the TELS platform for Life Safety and daily tasks.
