Job summary

Genesis Cumberland, RI is seeking a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained surroundings for patients and residents. You will supervise the maintenance team, oversee electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems, and life safety compliance, reporting to the Nursing Home Administrator.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent, basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Compliance with safety regulations and reporting to Nursing Home Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Supervise maintenance department and orient new staff.
• Maintain fire alarm and emergency generator systems.
• Maintain records and assist with budget planning.
• Be on-call for emergencies 24/7.
• Operate on the TELS platform for Life Safety tasks.
