Job summary
Genesis Healthcare is seeking a Senior Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team at a center and occasionally provide consulting for other centers. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, manage life safety systems, and participate in budgeting and capital planning.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; related technical school degree preferred.
- Five years of experience in physical plant repairs, maintenance and mechanical systems.
- Experience in management and training of maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities
- Maintains building free of hazards and repairs electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems.
- Supervises maintenance department and orients new staff.
- Operates on the TELS platform for Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
- Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems; keeps records and budgets.
- On-call for emergencies 24/7; recommends repairs and life safety code corrections.
- Provides input into capital and operating budgets and conducts audits.
