Job summary

Brown Advisory is seeking an experienced Facilities Infrastructure Manager to oversee operations, maintenance, and projects across the firm’s office portfolio in Baltimore. You will lead relocations, renovations, and decommissioning while ensuring safe, efficient workplaces and strong vendor partnerships.

You will manage budgets, coordinate with Security, IT, and stakeholders, and travel to office locations for site reviews and project oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of facilities management and project management experience.
• Experience managing corporate office projects, relocations, renovations, and decommissioning efforts.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance programs, workplace operations, and vendor management.
• Demonstrated experience working with architects, contractors, consultants, landlords, and service providers.
• Proven budget management and financial oversight experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel as required to support office operations and projects.
• Ability to respond to emergencies outside normal business hours, including during inclement weather.
• Experience managing direct reports and contract-based providers.
• Must work in Baltimore office five days a week.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day facility operational issues across offices.
• Collaborate with Director of Corporate Services and vendors to plan short- and long-term facilities improvements.
• Conduct regular office assessments and coordinate maintenance activities across locations.
• Support capex budgeting by identifying critical improvements across the portfolio.
• Manage vendors and coordinate services with property management teams.
• Coordinate security and emergency responses with landlords and property managers.
• Travel to office locations for site reviews, oversight, and assessments.
• Serve as primary contact for emergencies and business continuity events.
• Oversee approved facilities budgets and report to leadership.
• Lead office openings, relocations, renovations, expansions, and decommissioning projects.
• Coordinate with IT, security, and other stakeholders on facility matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency and overall employee experience.
